      document.write("                  receive are brought in by \"good Samaritans\" who find stray animals");
      
      document.write("                  running at large. Others are bringing in their own animals that they");
      
      document.write("                  can no longer care for. Many people are not sure what is involved");
      
      document.write("                  bringing an animal to the shelter. Here are a few things to keep in");
      
      document.write("                  mind. </font>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">1. When you");
      
      document.write("                  bring in an animal it legally becomes the property of the shelter. We");
      
      document.write("                  make no guarantees that the animal will be adopted. If you later decide");
      
      document.write("                  you want the animal back, you have to adopt it from the shelter, just");
      
      document.write("                  as anyone else would.");
      
      document.write("                  Giving up an animal to the shelter should only be used as a LAST");
      
      document.write("                  RESORT, after you have attempted every other way to try and find your");
      
      document.write("                  pet a new home.");
      
      document.write("                  Generally, the shelter facilities are full of stray animals which have");
      
      document.write("                  priority. However we can take your listing, and watch for people");
      
      document.write("                  requesting an");
      
      document.write("                  animal like yours, or call you in as space opens up. </font></p>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">2. The");
      
      document.write("                  Panhandle Animal Shelter is NOT a \"pound.\" We don't pick up or deliver");
      
      document.write("                  animals. The shelter is not supported by tax dollars in any way and");
      
      document.write("                  isn't affiliated with the city or county. It has no animal control");
      
      document.write("                  officer, extra staff, financial resources, or equipment to pick up");
      
      document.write("                  animals. To deal with problem animals, people must call the police or");
      
      document.write("                  the sheriff's office. It's up to those law enforcement offices to");
      
      document.write("                  decide whether or not to help you. </font></p>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">3. The");
      
      document.write("                  shelter does impound animals for the city of Sandpoint,");
      
      document.write("                  Ponderay, and the county. If your dog is picked up by Animal Control,");
      
      document.write("                  you must pay the fines to the city first and then pay a boarding fee to");
      
      document.write("                  the shelter. </font></p>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">4. A");
      
      document.write("                  majority of the expense associated with the operation of the animal");
      
      document.write("                  shelter is direct cost");
      
      document.write("                  of staff, medication, food and care for the animals. The shelter");
      
      document.write("                  requires a relatively small fee for owner relinquished animals. Many");
      
      document.write("                  people also donate money when they drop off an animal and it's greatly");
      
      document.write("                  appreciated because it helps pay for the care and feeding of the");
      
      document.write("                  stray animals in our care. </font></p>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">5. If you");
      
      document.write("                  drop off an animal, you will be asked many questions about the animal's");
      
      document.write("                  history and temperament. You also will be required to sign a form that");
      
      document.write("                  legally transfers ownership of the animal to the shelter. Even if you");
      
      document.write("                  are bringing in a stray, you will be asked to sign the form. In that");
      
      document.write("                  case you are a \"representative of the owner\" until the owner can be");
      
      document.write("                  found. </font></p>");
      
      document.write("                <p><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">6.  	 The shelter may  refuse admission of the following animals: </font></p>");

      document.write("                    <li><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">Animals");
      
      document.write("                      which have been bred, raised, acquired, or used for commercial");
      
      document.write("                      exploitation. The shelter does not perform euthanasia as a service to");
      
      document.write("                      the public, EVER. However, if refusing the animal may result in");
      
      document.write("                      neglect, abuse, abandonment or the inhumane disposal of the animal, the");
      
      document.write("                      animal may be admitted at the discretion of the staff. </font></li>");
      
      document.write("                    <li><font color=\"#000000\" face=\"arial\" size=\"-1\">Animals that have  bitten someone, except in certain cases of quarantine.</font></li>");

      document.write("                      diseased or vicious animals. If the owner is unwilling or unable to");
      
      document.write("                      provide care for the animal, it may still be admitted at staff");
