Critter Camp Week long discovery for children Panhandle Animal Shelter

Critter Camp

Calling all young pet lovers! Whether your child is curious about cats or dedicated to dogs, Critter Camp campers have the opportunity to learn while connecting with animals and discovering how an animal shelter works and helps the animals of our community.

This year we are offering 4 one week sessions.

Critter Campers engage in creative, animal related activities and share encounters with special animal visitors such as pocket pets, reptiles, horses and more. Each child will take home at the end the week their own toy pet and toy pet habitat that they design, create and then learn about throughout the camp.
