Through Panhandle Animal Shelters foster program, thousands of animals have received special care before moving on to a new life with their families. More than 1,000 animals that come to PAS each year need foster care before they are ready to find new homes, and this need continues to increase.
Foster opportunities include:
- Animals too young for adoption
- Pregnant animals and nursing mothers with litters
- Animals that require supportive post-surgical care
- Dog Day Dates
- Take Me Home Tonight – Dog Sleepovers
The food, medication, kennels, toys, and other basic supplies you will need are provided. You provide an open heart and home and we’ll take care of the rest!
