Front Desk Volunteer Position
Front Desk Representative: The Front Desk Representative is responsible for providing quality customer service to the community. You will assist PAS by professionally promoting our mission, services, programs, events and adoption efforts. You will provide service to internal and external customers, including but not limited to the general public, adopters, staff, volunteers, board members, city/county officials, veterinarians and people looking for lost pets or relinquishing owned pets. You will respond to phone messages and incoming phone calls. You are responsible for knowing which animals are available for adoption and familiarize yourself with their personality bios. You will assist the public with adoptions and the adoption process, answer questions on veterinary services offered and help check in and discharge veterinary patients. You will promote and encourage donations and giving opportunities as appropriate.
This position requires a committed schedule and allows for 1 volunteer per shift.
Shifts are as follows:
Monday through Sunday
12 pm to 2 pm; 2 pm to 4 pm
