PAS COVID-19 UPDATES

There was a possibility of corona virus exposure at Panhandle Animal Shelter.  The shelter will be closed for adoptions until April 18th as a precaution. If you are an owner with an emergency that requires you to surrender your pet OR if you find a stray dog, you will need to call to schedule an appointment at (208) 265-7297 ext. 100. Because we are experiencing staff shortages, we cannot guarantee we will be available to take in strays that don’t have a scheduled intake day and time. If needed, please call Bonner County dispatch at (208) 265-5525 for assistance.  For more information on services we are still providing, click the button.

Home To Home™

Home To Home™ helps pets stay out of shelters. It is a unique, direct-to-adopter program for pet owners looking to re-home their animals. In just a few simple steps, pets can find a loving new home without ever seeing the inside of a shelter.  It’s free to use for both owners and adopters, and gives animals needing a new home the best of both worlds: their current owner can find the best fit, and their adopter can learn all about their personality and preferences first-hand. It’s a win-win for all!

There’s no place like home. Sometimes pets need a new one. We understand. Find your pet a new home, or find a new pet for your home, by visiting https://pas.home-home.org/

Home To Home™ was founded by Pandhandle Animal Shelter and is now being utilized by shelters and rescues throughout the United States. To visit the national Home To Home™ website, click here. Home To Home™ is a gracious recipient of grant support from Maddie’s Fund #ThankstoMaddie.
