Sandpoint Thrift Shop - Panhandle Animal Shelter

Thrift Store

The Thrift Store depends on donations from the public for its sales. By shopping at the store or donating much-needed items, you are helping care and feed the animals at the shelter.

We accept a wide variety of donations such as books, household items, clothing, furniture and small appliances.  For donations guidelines, please click here.

All of the merchandise is arranged by department, which makes the store very easy to shop and find that great bargain or new treasure.

Like the Panhandle Animal Shelter, the Thrift Store is owned by Friends of the Shelter, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We receive no tax support from city, county, state or federal governments. After expenses, such as water, gas and electricity, all of the proceeds from Thrift Store go to the animal shelter. In fact, the Thrift Store provides a substantial portion of the Panhandle Animal Shelter’s operating budget.

* We know that you want your donations to benefit the animals, so please bring your new or gently used items to the shop during business hours to prevent theft.

We accept donations daily.
